Dr. Dimitropoulos obtained his medical degree from the Medical School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. Honours Degree with Exellence.

He then trained in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Athens.
Research fellow in laparoscopy and IVF at the University of San Antonio Texas, USA.

He is particularly experienced in the field of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and in endoscopic surgery. He practices privately at three private Maternity Hospitals in Athens: Mitera Maternity Hospital, Rea Maternity Hospital and Iaso Maternity Hospital

Dr. Dimitropoulos is a member of several scientific and professional societies including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
